Athlete guide to CFHK Re-opening

  • Opening date – June 1, 2020
  • Classes will be capped at 15 athletes until further notice
  • Class times
    • WOD – (Monday – Friday) 5am, 6am, 8am, 9am, 4:30pm, 5:30pm
    • WOD – (Saturday) 10am, 11am
    • Open Gym – (Monday – Friday) 11am, 12pm
    • Open Gym – (Sunday) 12pm, 1pm
    • ACFT – (Mon, Wed, Fri) 7am
    • CF Teens – (Mon, Wed, Fri) 1pm
    • CF Teens Strength & Conditioning – (Tues & Thurs) 1 pm
    • Weightlifting – (Mon, Wed, Fri) 2pm
    • CrossFit Kids – NOT at the gym, Zoom classes only until further notice (Tues & Thurs) 4:30pm (Saturday) 11am
    • Zoom Remote classes – (Monday- Friday) 6pm
    • Zoom Remote will also be available during 9am WOD but running as in class view
    • There will be no extra work allowed on the side or outside during scheduled class times or unscheduled times until further notice.
  • No child care will be available and no children will be permitted at the gym until further notice.
  • Athletes must preregister through the Zen Planner app to reserve their spot in class.
    • If you do not preregister for class please do not show up anyways. Choose another class time or attend the scheduled Zoom Class.
    • IF THE CLASS IS NOT SCHEDULED IN ZEN PLANNER ASSUME THAT THERE IS NOT A CLASS SCHEDULED AT THAT TIME.
    • The week’s class schedule will be posted in Zen Planner every Sunday by 3pm for the weeks sign ups.
    • If you need to cancel please try to cancel 1 hour prior to the start of class so another athlete can have the space if class is full.

  • Do not come to class if you have been sick, had a fever over 100.4, cough, or shortness of breath in the last 24 hours.
  • Do not come to class if you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive or has symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • Masks are encouraged per CDC guidelines but not required.
  • What do I do when I come to the gym for class?
    • Please stay in your car until 5 min prior to the start of class.
    • PUNCTUALITY is of the utmost importance! Do not enter early and do not enter late.
    • Enter through the open bay doors when not raining.
    • The coach will check you into class on their personal phone. Do not check into class at the kiosk.
    • Claim your athlete space. It will be taped off and numbered. First come first serve.
    • Keep your belongings with you in your space and only bring what you need for the day.
    • Sanitize your hands with the provided sanitizer in your space or your personal sanitizer may be used.
    • CFHK will not provide community chalk. You may bring your own but it must remain in an enclosed container or bag. DO NOT set loose chalk bags or blocks on the rig or floor.
    • Class will begin promptly at the top of the hour in the AM and half hour in the PM.
    • All class activities will take place in 45min total.
    • You will then have 10 min to clean all equipment used or touched with the provided disposable town and disinfectant and leave your square clean as you found it.
    • You must exit the facility prior 5min of the next class starting.
    • There will be no congregating inside or outside of CFHK until further notice.
  • Programming
    • We will go back to CompTrain Class programing for in the gym but may make alterations if needed for our specific space/equipment/class sizes.
    • Zoom will continue CompTrain at Home programming utilizing the dumbbells/kettlebells/odd objects.
    • If you log on to 9am class Zoom, Coach Katie will be coaching the Class programming and you can sub/modify in your home equipment.
  • General
    • No showers will be permitted at CFHK at this time
    • Please use the provided toilet seat cover when using the restroom.
    • Please bring your own bottle of water and try to avoid drinking out of the water fountain. Use of the bottle refill station is permitted.
    • Wash your hands with soap and water when available and avoid touching your face.
    • Merchandise is still available for purchase but limit the lobby to no more than 2 individuals at a time. If a coach is available ask them to get your merchandise, if not

write it on the clipboard when you get it. Do not check it out at the kiosk.

  • Drop ins will not be permitted at this time.
  • CROSSFIT TEENS parents will have to wait in the car and not in the gym at this time.
  • When rig workouts are done (pull ups, toes to bar, etc), we will be facing OUT of the rig, do not face other athletes.
  • COVID-19 waiver has been added to all Zen Planner profiles and must be signed prior to coming to your first in person class again.
